If your property is not connected to main sewage system it is likely you have either a cesspool or septic tank for your household sewage; both these systems require to be emptied on a regular basis

Southern Cesspool Services offer this service and can empty your cesspool or septic tank to meet your needs. Whether on a pre-arranged automatic basis or on an individual call out basis we can deal with all your sewage waste removal requirements at competitive rates.

Our work in this field complies with all current relevant legislation and all liquid waste is disposed of at a licensed sewage treatment works.

It is recommended that a septic tank is emptied at least once a year to prevent excessive sludge build-up that could otherwise result in the soakaway outlet becoming restricted.

Please note that in exceptional cases, if the emptying takes significantly longer for reasons beyond our control (for example, where the tank has not been maintained properly and is badly sludged up, or where additional work is required for us to be able to reach the tank), then an additional charge may be made to cover the extra time involved. This will need to be confirmed (if appropriate) when booking the service.

We operate 2000 gallon tankers, and bookings are usually made 2 to 3 days in advance.

Please note that we do not currently offer an emergency, out of hours service.
